About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing psychotherapy with individuals, couples, families and groups for many years. I provide my clients with a caring therapeutic environment to help them process the unique challenges they face, strengthen relationships, and gain the confidence and skill they need to achieve their goals.

I earned my Bachelors of Arts Degree (BA) in Philosophy from UC Berkeley and my Masters in Social Work (MSW) with a Mental Health Concentration from USC. I started my social work career in community mental health settings where I had the opportunity to work with adults, teenagers, and families from diverse backgrounds.

During my graduate education, I interned at Shields For Families, where I provided individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents in school based mental health and at Harbor-UCLA Outpatient Psychiatric Department providing indidivual and group psychotherapy to adults in treatment utilizing  Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  I spent the next several years working as a psychotherapist at South Bay Human Service Center. In my provision of weekly individual, couple, and family long-term psychotherapy, I supported clients in addressing a wide variety of clinical needs, including: anxiety, depression, relationship and family problems, sexual assault, childhood trauma, sexuality, and addiction.
